Dude2Dude (a product of Woodsage Partners, Inc.) is a digital peer support community designed to connect cardiac surgery patients with others who have shared similar experiences. Nothing on this platform — including content, messages, Trail Guide conversations, community posts, videos, or any other material — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Trail Guides are fellow patients who have volunteered to share their personal recovery experiences. They are not licensed medical professionals, counselors, or healthcare providers. Their guidance reflects personal experience only and should never replace the advice of your physician, surgeon, cardiologist, or other licensed healthcare provider.

By joining Dude2Dude, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will consult your licensed healthcare provider for all medical decisions
• Dude2Dude and its affiliates, employees, volunteers, and Trail Guides are not liable for any health outcomes, decisions, or actions taken based on content or conversations on this platform
• This platform is a supplement to — not a replacement for — your medical care team

Terms of Use

By creating an account on Dude2Dude, you agree to the following:

• You will use this platform respectfully and in the spirit of brotherhood and recovery support
• You will not post harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• You will not solicit other members for commercial purposes
• You will not share another member's personal information without their consent
• You understand that Dude2Dude reserves the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these terms

Dude2Dude is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

Privacy

Dude2Dude collects only the information necessary to provide the service — your name, contact information, surgery type and date, and recovery check-in data. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not collect or store medical records or protected health information (PHI). Your journal entries and check-in responses are private and visible only to you.

We use Supabase for secure data storage. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
